PLEASE PROCEED WITH CAUTION.
Growing up in rainy Seattle in the 1980s, a bored kid found the family typewriter. What followed was an unprecedented burst of creative output that the world was not ready for.
Armed with markers and a Jackson Pollock-esque eye for illustration, the author produced four volumes of the Mr. Scums saga — a literary achievement that, in hindsight, is exactly the kind of thing that gets kids medicated today.
Perhaps most remarkably, the author's parents did not intervene after the first story. Or the second. They simply let it happen. Whether this was encouragement, neglect, or morbid curiosity remains unclear.
Scholars may wonder why the author stopped at four volumes. Was the saga complete? Had he said all there was to say about a man who throws up? Did the typewriter ribbon finally give out? Was the intervention that should have come after volume one quietly delivered after volume four? The world may never know.
Nearly four decades later, these works have been recovered from a closet and preserved digitally for all of humanity. You're welcome.
